📍Employers’ Confederation Meets with Minister of Labour to Emphasize Tripartite Collaboration and Support Thai Workforce Development

Today (18 July 2025), the executive team of the Employers’ Confederation of Thailand (ECOT), led by President Mr. Ekkasit Kunanantakul, paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Pongkwin Jungroongruangkit, Minister of Labour, to discuss collaborative approaches under the principle of tripartism, a core foundation of effective labour management.

Key discussion points included:
✅ Integrating labour data systematically to enhance accuracy in labour management
✅ Maximizing the benefits of the Skill Development Fund
✅ Upskilling the workforce to align with the demands of the modern labour market

🔵 ECOT proposed the “Kanchanaburi Sandbox” initiative, designating Kanchanaburi as a pilot area for labour data integration. The Confederation also extended an invitation to the Minister to preside over the official launch of the project.
