ECOT joins hands with ICDL to help employers and employees survive in the digital age.

October 9, 2023 at Sukanan Charoen Villa Building, Samutprakan,
 Employers’ Confederation of Thailand or ECOT by Mr. Ekasit Kunanantakul,
 President of ECOT and ICDL Thailand by Dr. Hugh O' Connell,
 Managing Director have jointly signed a MOU to advance the level 
of digital competency for business owners/employers and employees 
to international standards and achieve sustainable growth in 
the digital age. There were many leaders and executives 
of both organizations and allied partners honoring the event, 
such as Ms. Jullada Meejul, Acting Director General of TPQI, 
Mr. Supree Thongpetch, President of the Thai Small and
Medium Enterprises Council. Ms. Kritkanya Karnchirathan,
 Executive Director, ICDL Thailand, Air Vice Marshal Professor
 Dr. Prasong Praneetpolgrang, Advisor to the Engineering Institute 
of Thailand, Ms. Siriwan Romchatthong, ECOT Secretary General,
 Dr. Puchiss Sricharoen, Senior Vice President, 
Thai Small and Medium Enterprises Council.

“ECOT would like to take this opportunity to express our intention through the mass media to all parts of the country to synergize potential and resources to jointly uplift and develop continuously so that organizations/businesses and workforce of the country have competencies suitable for working in this era and achieve Thailand 4.0 with the 20-year national strategy and the digital development plan for the economy and society in terms of developing digital literacy” was part of Mr. Ekasit's opening speech.
