At the KOSEN Institute of King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL),
Mr. Ekkasit Kunanantakul, President of the Employers’ Confederation of Thailand (ECOT), led a delegation to visit and discuss potential collaboration with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Natthawut Dapiwa, Acting Dean of KOSEN Institute, and the management team.
The visit aimed to explore cooperation in developing highly skilled engineering and technology students to meet the needs of employers, particularly in the high-tech digital industries that are attracting significant foreign investment, especially from Japan.
Mr. Ekkasit stated:
“ECOT recognizes KOSEN as a key institute producing highly capable graduates in engineering, technology, AI, and language skills — all of which align with real business needs. We encourage the government to continue supporting KOSEN’s efforts, as we firmly believe that a new generation of technology engineers will play a crucial role in driving Thailand’s economy toward sustainable growth.”
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Natthawut added:
“We sincerely thank ECOT for recognizing the importance of developing technology-oriented professionals. KOSEN is committed to nurturing a new generation of engineers who graduate two years earlier than traditional programs and are fully ready to enter the workforce. We look forward to collaborating with ECOT to promote future employment opportunities for our students.”
