ECOT Receives Certificate of Recognition as a Working Group Supporting Good Labour Relations and Employee Welfare Management in 2026

On 3 September 2026, the Employers’ Confederation of Thailand (ECOT), represented by Ms. Nutcharee Yingsittisawat and Mr. Ukrit Kanjanaket, attended the 2026 Outstanding Establishment Awards Ceremony for Labour Relations and Employee Welfare and received a Certificate of Recognition as a Working Group Supporting Establishments in Developing Good Labour Relations and Employee Welfare Management Systems.

The ceremony was held at Makkhawan Rangsan Room, Zone AB, 3rd Floor, Royal Thai Army Club, Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, Bangkok, and was presided over by Captain Saroj Khomkhai, Director-General of the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare. Executives of the Department, representatives of business establishments, working groups, and related agencies also attended the event.

The event aimed to encourage establishments to develop effective labour relations and employee welfare management systems through bipartite mechanisms and participation within organisations. It also sought to motivate employers and employees to recognise the importance of positive labour relations and welfare provision in improving employees’ quality of life.

Awards were presented to outstanding establishments in the areas of labour relations and employee welfare, as well as to model enterprises and state enterprises under the “Good Labour Practices based on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy” initiative. Certificates of recognition were also presented to working groups that contributed to the promotion and development of labour management systems.

ECOT’s participation reflects the employer sector’s continued cooperation in supporting the development of labour relations and employee welfare systems, as well as promoting a sustainable working environment that benefits both employers and employees.
