ECOT Participates in Programme to Enhance the Consideration of Petitions Concerning Employer Relocation and Attends the 8th Labour Welfare Committee Meeting of 2026

On 10 September 2026, the Employers’ Confederation of Thailand (ECOT), represented by Ms. Nutcharee Yingsittisawat, participated in the Programme to Enhance the Efficiency of Petition Consideration and Adjudication in Cases of Employer Relocation, conducted by the Labour Welfare Committee and the Subcommittee on Fact-Finding and Screening. She also attended the 8th Labour Welfare Committee Meeting of 2026.

The meeting was held from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Crystal Rooms 3–4, 3rd Floor, Century Park Hotel, Bangkok. Representatives from relevant agencies and sectors participated in reviewing and exchanging information concerning the process for considering and adjudicating petitions arising from employer relocation.

The programme plays an important role in strengthening understanding and improving the effectiveness of fact-finding and screening procedures relating to employees’ rights and welfare, as well as employers’ responsibilities, under the mechanisms of the Labour Welfare Committee.

ECOT’s participation reflects the employer sector’s engagement in labour-related mechanisms, contributing perspectives and supporting the appropriate implementation of labour welfare measures in accordance with the law, while taking into account a fair balance between the interests of employers and employees.
