On July 12, 2024, Mr. Ukrish Kanchanaketu, senior advisor of Employers’ Confederation of Thailand (ECOT) went to a meeting of the Issara Institute that has launch Inclusive Labor Monitoring (ILM) Action Network. It is a technology system that puts the voice of workers at the center (Worker Voice-centered) and is a multi-stakeholder cooperation platform e.g. global brands, retailers, manufacturing company employment agency and government agencies to drive a more ethical global supply chain and many stakeholders, to discuss and develop strategies to promote ethical recruitment and improve labor conditions, taking into account walk-in migrant workers who register in Thailand and the challenges faced by MoU migrant workers in their country of origin, especially with the situation in Myanmar.
